3- In male pattern baldness, loss and thinning begin at the temples & the crown & hair either thins out or falls out.
4- Female pattern baldness occurs at the frontal & parietal areas of head.
5- People have between 1,00,000 to 1,50,000 hairs on their head. The number of strands lost varies but approximately loss of hairs is 100 hairs lost per day daily. When hair loss takes place a new strand of hair takes its place but in baldness cases the hair loss ratio is more than compared to new hairs coming out of them.
1- Male pattern hair loss is due to combination of genetics & the male hormone dihydrotestosterone. The cause in female pattern baldness could be thyroid problem, anxiety, stress, hormonal imbalances.
