A gallstone is a stone formed within the gallbladder from precipitated bile components. Gallstone disease refers to the condition where gallstones are either in the gallbladder or common bile duct. Gallstones are more common among women than men and occur more commonly after the age of 40.

High blood concentrations of uric acid can lead to gout & are associated with other medical conditions such as diabetes & the formation of ammonium acid urate kidney stones. Causes could be such as – genetics, hypertension, insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, chronic kidney disease, obesity, diet errors, iron overload, use of diuretics, excess use of alcoholic drinks consumptions.

It is an abnormal enlargement of the pampiniform venous plexus in the scrotum. This plexus work is to drain blood from the testicles back to the heart. Varicocele causes enlargement of the veins within the loose bag of skin that holds the testicles/ scrotum. These veins transport oxygen-depleted blood from the testes.
